Trading Rooms enable social trading on FriendSpace. They allow you to follow successful traders and potentially profit from their expertise.
How Trading Rooms Work
For Keyholders
- Join a Room: Purchase a key to join a Trading Room
- Follow Trades: See creators trade in real-time, and chat directly in their room
- Track Performance: Check trading performance in the room dashboard, and compare on the leaderboards
- Vote on Distributions: Stake your keys for >24hrs to enable voting on distributing funds to keyholders
For Creators
- Create a Room: Set up your Trading Room and start building your following
- Make Trades: Use in-chat commands or the manual trading interface to execute trades on Hyperliquid
- Earn Fees: Receive a performance fee when funds are distributed
- Build Reputation: Your performance is tracked on a global leaderboard. Earn more points for higher performance
Hyperliquid Trading
FriendSpace integrates directly with Hyperliquid, offering a high-performance decentralized perpetual exchange experience within your room.
Manual Trading Interface
For precision control, creators can use the Trading Drawer interface instead of chat commands.
- Asset Selector: Choose from Hyperliquid's curated list of perpetual pairs (e.g., BTC, ETH, SOL).
- Order Types:
- Market: Execute immediately at current market price.
- Limit: Set a specific price to enter the market.
- Leverage: Adjust your leverage slider to manage risk/reward.
- Take Profit / Stop Loss: Set automated exit targets before you open the position.
Managing Positions
All open positions are visible in the Trading Fund dashboard.
- Live Metrics: Track PnL, Entry Price vs. Market Price, and Liquidation Price in real-time.
- Closing: Close positions instantly with a single click or let your TP/SL triggers handle it.
- Transparency: All keyholders can view these active positions to verify the room's performance.
Trading Tools
FriendSpace provides professional-grade tools directly within the room interface:
TradingView Integration
Analyze the market without leaving the chat.
- Charts: View real-time price action with full TradingView chart capabilities.
- Commands: Pull up charts instantly using
/chart [symbol] [timeframe].
PnL Tracking
- Live Dashboard: Real-time tracking of open positions and overall room performance.
- History: Transparent history of all past trades and their outcomes.
Fees and Profit Sharing

- Transaction Fees: A tax on key buys/sells is shared between the Trading Fund, Room Creator, and Protocol
- Performance Fee: When trading profits are distributed, there is a fee directed to the Room Creator and Protocol
Security Features
Trading Rooms are designed with security in mind:
- Creators can't directly access or withdraw funds
- To avoid low-quality tokens, trading is limited to HyperLiquid's curated perp list
- All trading activity is transparent and on-chain
- Only Keyholders can vote to distribute funds. Once a two-thirds majority is reached, all trading positions are closed, and 90% of the remaining funds (after performance fees) are returned to keyholders, with 10% staying in the Trading Fund to seed further trading.
Social Room
Social Rooms provide a direct communication channel between creators and their communities, offering a FriendTech-style experience while maintaining FriendSpace's core features and functionality.

The Dashboard is your personal command center in FriendSpace, giving you a high-level overview of your assets, performance, and rewards.
